What do you guys charge?

Our wedding photography services start at $1,999 and our books, $4,999.

Who does the photography for your books?

We do. Chris shoots primary, Natasha shoots secondary. Learn more about our professional expertise in Our Story.

Are the only photos we get the ones in the book?

No. There are hundreds of incredible photos that can’t possibly fit in the book, but they are yours, too.

Who does the writing for your books?

We do. We are both published writers.

Then who puts it all together into a book format?

Again: We do. Our designs are completely custom. We use no templates and no formulas. We do everything, except print and bind, in-house.

Can I get my book done for an iPad?

You bet. All of our books will come with an iPad version.

What are are the benefits of hiring WriteShot instead of a regular photographer?

Why not save money by just getting my photos on disc and making an album later?

There are many reasons not to take this route, but here are two: First, discs are not treated as heirlooms. They aren’t enjoyed by everyone who enters your home. They are easily lost, scratched or destroyed. Discs may or may not be easily accessed by future generations. Second, we know from speaking to couples that have chosen this path that they rarely, if ever, end up making an album on their own. They just don’t have the time.

How many hours of shooting do I get on my wedding day?

Whatever it takes. We never limit the number of hours on your wedding day. We don’t leave until the bride and groom do.

Do I get an engagement session, too?

Everyone gets an engagement session. Beyond that, the sky is the limit. We’ve covered spa days, showers, guys nights out, rehearsals, dinners, day-after events – you name it.

Does it matter if my wedding is really small and simple?

The size and style of your wedding do not impact the quality of your photographs, story or book. Nor does the size or style of your wedding impact the quality of our coverage and commitment. Small works just as well as humongous. Simple works as well as fancy. Off-beat or traditional? It’s up to you.

How long until I have a copy of my images? Of my book?

You can have a highlights slideshow the night of your reception. You’ll have your images on-line and on a DVD within a few days of your wedding. You’ll have a PDF of your book within a week of your wedding date. And, you’ll have your book in your hands 30 days after your wedding date.

Why are your books done so fast, when many photographers take months to complete an album?

We commit to only two weddings each month. That way, each of our clients gets 100% of our attention, both, while we are working their event(s) and for the week following their wedding date, when we go into post-production. We do not take shortcuts and we do not outsource any of our work. Quite simply, we are completely dedicated to your photography, your story and your book, from start to finish.

Your printing is incredible. Who does it?

It took a huge amount of resources to locate a print/bind option that consistently meets our high standards. We explored options in Malaysia, Japan, the Netherlands, Italy, Canada and multiple locations in the US. We don’t have a lot of secrets, but this is one of them.

What if I want an image-only album, too?

No problem. We can do that for you and we can personalize it using a variety of antique, vintage and contemporary fabrics and leather. All books and albums are completely custom.

Why haven’t I ever heard of this before?

Quite simply: Because we are the only people doing it. We’ve got a particular skill set and passion that are, both, extremely hard to match. We have a mission to which we are unequivocally committed. That much is fact. That much we know. We’ve been told it’s our chemistry that makes working with us a different kind of experience. And, that our chemistry allows us to produce images, stories and books that are one-of-a-kind. Again, that’s what we’re told. In the words of Andy Ebon, wedding industry expert, “You’ve shattered the formula for wedding photography.”

Do you cover events other than weddings?

Of course! We cover all life events, from birth to death, both, professional and personal.

Do you travel?

You bet! We love to.

What forms of payment do you take?

We can take any major credit card. We have a monthly plan that allows you to spread payments out over the course of a year. We also have a gift registry that allows your friends and family to make this investment for you.
