About Natasha
Working in private schools as a journalism teacher and principal, I had the privilege of serving, all told, over a thousand families. These families were from all walks of life, though some were high profile, some were on scholarship and many came from homes with both parents working. Every single one of these families had amazing stories, values and beliefs to share.
I loved my students and their families. Most of all, I loved photographing them and hearing their stories, but I was ready for something different . . .
I left the private school world and turned my attention to photography, and that’s when I met Chris, while shooting a boxing match in Las Vegas. We discovered a mutual love for photography and writing and, over time, our friendship blossomed into romance.
We decided to build a life together; part of that commitment entailed fulfilling our desire to shoot and write about people – all kinds of people, not just celebrities or professional athletes, but people who value history, family and legacy.
Together, Chris and I have covered an extraordinary array of life events and milestones, including weddings, which are my favorite.
People think about sharing their thoughts with you and they don’t – not because they don’t want to, but because the opportunity to do so hasn’t presented itself. Chris and I create that opportunity for your family, your friends and you in the days leading up to your wedding. It’s the perfect occasion, since everyone is reminiscing about their fondest memories while they are simultaneously creating new ones.
It just makes good sense doing what we do. Some photographers think we’re nuts; that we do it the long way. The hard way.
I believe we do it the right way. The only way.
I cannot imagine covering your wedding in any other way than the way we do. You are that important to your family, to your friends, to your future legacy.
And, to us.
You and your story are that important to us.
