You can’t dispute the fact that Toy Poodles continue to inspire couture bridal design year after year.
This year, it’s Maggie Sottero’s Yasmin ballgown with a sweetheart neckline and corset closure that’s gone to the dogs.
None of the seven Toy Poodles entered in this year’s Westminster Kennel Club Toy Group competition could beat out GCH Palacegarden Malachy, the Pekingese who resembled a mother-of-the-bride disapproving of both, her daughter’s taste in decor, and men.

There are a lot of posers out there, flaunting and strutting and people buy it and accept it because, like I read from @DanielleLaPorte today, they are NUMBED out. “They attract the numbed masses because we’re deluged by information, because we’re in a trance and need to be yelled at to press “click”, because we don’t trust ourselves.
A bride sees the same thing parading by in a magazine, page after page and doesn’t know any better and not knowledgeable enough about what is available to her to trust her instincts.
It’s only when they are educated and exposed to something new, unique that they suddenly AWAKE to see the beauty of “different” and embrace it.
Great and thought provoking post Natasha.
